Daniel Pohl (Founder, President, and Acting CTO)
As VP, Technology Strategy and Development, Mr. Pohl recently guided Wandrian, Inc technology from the start-up stage through 7 years of rapid growth. This period’s successes included Series A and B rounds of VC financing (Brook Venture Capital & Boston Capital Ventures), contracts awarded by Eurail, Amtrak, and the Italian national railroad, company expansion from 5 to 50 employees on 3 continents plus off-shore teams, and revenue growth to $120 million annually from a global user base.
Previously, Mr. Pohl founded RailSaver, a company that pioneered online travel algorithms. Mr. Pohl sold RailSaver to Wandrian in 2004. Mr. Pohl's commitment to innovation and usability was highlighted by US News & World Report selecting RailSaver’s functionality as the winner of a “Best 30 Websites for 2007” award. The honored website was a RailSaver deployment on Wandrian’s www.railpass.com (see article).
Mr. Pohl earned a Masters of Management/Entrepreneurship degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Matt Pelletier (Development Team Leader)
Partner at Eastmedia, a software, mobile, and business development firm based in New York City. In conjunction with VeriSign, Eastmedia sponsored early development of Mongrel, the ruby-based Web server, for the Apache Heraldry OpenID project. Mr. Pelletier is co-founder of NYC.rb, the New York City Ruby/Rails group, and has spoken at RailsConf 2006, MySQLConf 2007 and has presented at other conferences and venues including BarCampNYC, RubyConf 2006, the Google Tech Talk series, and the Federal Reserve. Mr. Pelletier is a co-author of Mongrel: Serving, Deploying, and Extending Your Ruby Applications, and is a contributing author of The Rails Way.
Mike Fuller (VP, Sales & Marketing)
As the Founder & CEO of Wandrian Inc., a leading SaaS oriented rail travel software company, Mr. Fuller led sales and marketing efforts. Wandrian now serves some of the largest rail travel companies in the world, including Amtrak and the Italian National Railroad.
Prior to Wandrian, Mr. Fuller was Founder & CEO of The Campus Agency, a NYC based advertising and marketing agency with an extensive list of high profile clients. The Campus Agency was sold to Student Advantage, Inc., now a division of CBORD Group, Inc., a unit of Roper Industries (NYSE: ROP).
Dr. David Molyneaux (SVP, Intellectual Property)
Also serves as Vice President of Product Development for Invivo Corporation. He has introduced over 100 new products to the marketplace. Dr. Molyneaux has 15 US patents issued, 5 US patents pending, and over 40 scientific & conference publications. He holds a Doctor of Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University.
